It all starts with a phone call, then we meet up, write down some property options, visit the places, and finally pick the one that’s just right.ย Sounds easy right ?

But thatโ€™s not where it ends. Every client and every deal is different and unique in its own way. You learn something new every time, and you get experiences you never thought you would.

Let me tell you about this one story before the pandemic.

There were these two business partners who wanted to take some money out of their business and invest in real estate. They had been in business for a long time and built beautiful homes, but had never built up Commercial Real estate portfolio.ย This time, they were clear that they wanted to build a commercial portfolio so they could get regular rental income.

At first, they wanted to start small and build up gradually.ย So, we did the usual thing – talked on the phone, listed some options, visited the properties, and finally found a place that had just been leased out to a big company. We started the deal in mid-January 2020, and then in March 2020, the pandemic hit. Since it was their first time doing business in the commercial sector, they had serious doubts about whether the company would even last six months. I mean, the whole office thing had shifted to work-from-home.

But we did our research, talked to the company, and after considering everything, we decided to go ahead with the deal. During COVID, so many companies were leaving their commercial spaces or trying to negotiate lower rent. But guess what? Remarkably This multinational company stood out by Consistently paying rent on time , did not negotiate on rentals and they even expanded their space after the pandemic.

And the best part? A few months ago, they called me again to buy another commercial property, and they were really keen on getting another asset leased to the same tenant.

Everything is destined. You just gotta follow the path and believe in what you’re doing.
